Back to writing a choose your own romance

Have you ever set yourself 'stretch goals'? You know, the ones that you don't think you'll meet but you'll give it your best shot?

At the beginning of July, I had the outline for a new free prequel to include in my own BookFunnel promotion from 3-6 August. No pressure, only 20,000 words to pull together, edit, proof read and publish.

I had a final draft of Who is Erebus that needed a proof read and sending out for advance review before being published in August.

Then there was The Unfaithful Wife, written but needing editing and proof reading before publishing in July.

And finally, a blank sheet of paper to give Juliette her own story in The (Un)Forgiving Wife.

Nailed it! Well, mostly.

Usually I don't enjoy editing, but I love Nina's character so much that writing her prequel in Once Upon a Love Story and editing her own story in The Unfaithful Wife was pure joy. I loved every moment of it. And when I published Once Upon a Love Story to my loyal readers a week before my deadline ... well that was icing on the cake.

Erebus. Phew. I introduced Erebus in The Intern. Have you heard the expression, 'sex on a stick'? That's Erebus and he wouldn't let me sleep until I gave him his own happily ever after. I wrote Who is Erebus back in February, put him through editing but wanted one final proof read before he is published in August.

Cold shower x 2! He is hotter than I remember and this book is not for the faint of heart. Bad boy meets good girl, and then some.

So, now I'm back to writing. Juliette has three possible happily ever afters. One is complete and right now I don't know how to write the other two to match.

Unless ... what if he ...
